However, his time at Huddersfield Town hasn't been as successful, with the striker struggling to find the back of the net. An excellent loan spell with Wigan Athletic last season saw him bag 11 goals across 22 outings, but he has yet to replicate that form for the Terriers. With Championship side Blackburn Rovers also credited with an interest in Taylor, it remains to be seen whether he will be heading to East Midlands or staying in West Yorkshire.
Sheffield Wednesday's frontline is in need of new blood, with discussions ongoing over the future of senior strikers Jamal Lowe and Ike Ugbo. Ugbo's exit is possible, with the club seeking a workable way forward. Charlie McNeill and Olaf Kobacki remain under contract, with the latter of interest to clubs in Europe, including his homeland in Poland. Youngsters George Brown and Will Grainger are also subject to contract discussions, with Grainger's deal all but agreed.
